Cove’s Notice of the Right to Opt-out of the Sale of Personal Information
Last updated: January 4th, 2022
Thirty Madison, Inc., d/b/a Cove, and its subsidiaries, divisions, and affiliates (“Cove”) offer our customers certain choices about how we use their information. The California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) gives California residents the right to opt-out of the “sale” of their personal information.
Cove collects, uses, and shares certain information about you through our website, social media, email exchanges, mobile apps, and other online services.
While Cove does not sell any of your personal information for money, Cove uses cookies and similar technologies that may result in your personal information being shared with third-parties in a manner that could be construed as a sale under the CCPA. Additionally, some of our vendors may use your data in a way that could be construed as a sale of data under the CCPA, for example by using machine learning on identity documents to improve an identity verification platform as a whole or for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising. For more information, see Cove’s privacy policy here.
As a result, we are providing California residents the ability to opt out of the cookies and trackers that may fall under the definition of “sale” under CCPA. Please note that Cove will not treat you differently as a result of your decision to opt-out. However, opting out of the use of these cookies and trackers may result in your web experience may being degraded and may limit or make unavailable some of the functionality and features of Cove’s services.
To opt-out of the sale of your personal information, please contact Cove at care@withcove.com or (877) 456-2683. If you would like more information about third-party internet-based advertising, please visit https://optout.aboutads.info/#!/
